Soho | Topshop
*Outfit exclusively from Topshop (Marc by Marc Jacobs Handbag)
Today has been quite an eventful day. Got a latte at Happy Bones, went to brunch at Jack's wife Freda, sat next to Marcus Mumford and Carey Mulligan, found out Zayn is leaving One Direction, cried for about 10 minutes, saw Sarah Jessica Parker, and shopped around all of Soho. I'm sure tomorrow will just as crazy!

#BoycottDolceGabbana
It has been a very interesting few days in the fashion and entertainment industry after Dolce & Gabbana duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were quoted saying:
"The only family is the traditional one. No chemical offsprings and rented uterus: life has a natural flow; there are things that should not be changed," and “You are born to a mother and a father — or at least that’s how it should be, I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Rented uterus, semen chosen from a catalog.”
The statement is confusing everyone, especially given the fact that both designers are gay! The comment has caught the attention of many people in Hollywood including Ricky Martin, Victoria Beckham and Sir Elton John who stated in an Instagram post:
"How dare you refer to my beautiful children as "synthetic". And shame on you for wagging your judgmental little fingers at IVF — a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfil their dream of having children. Your archaic thinking is out of step with the times, just like your fashions. I shall never wear Dolce and Gabbana ever again. #BoycottDolceGabbana."
Since then, Gabbana replied:
“This online campaigning is useless. A gay rights group put words in our mouths in bad faith, and it got out of control. We don’t and won’t boycott anyone.”
Personally, I will certainly join the boycott on Dolce & Gabbana because the various comments that have been made have been out of taste and very hurtful to many.
Where do you stand?

Reasons Why You Should Travel
1. You will experience something different in every place you visit.
Every place you go will have a new culture to learn. Traveling to new places is anything but boring.
2. It will make you more open minded.
Being in a new place and seeing how other people live will teach how similar all people really are.
3. You will meet so many new and interesting people.
Talk to as many people as you can. Everyone has a different story and you can meet some incredible people.
4. It will develop skills you didn't even know you had.
Whether it's getting lost and then finding your way, or ordering in a different language, you will learn and grow so much.
5. You will learn to be more independent.
When traveling, the only person you can relay on is yourself. This teaches a really valuable lesson.
6. You will gain perspective on how big the world actually is.
Seeing the rest of the world will make you open your eyes and realize that there are things much bigger than yourself.
